My name is Alyse Hanssen, I’m 30 years old, and I need help finding my brother. On December 7th, 2007 my kid brother Teddy Hanssen disappeared. He was supposed to call me to work out holiday plans and never did. Instead, John Garrettie of the CIA called me to ask about Teddy’s job. Teddy had told me he worked as a computer consultant for Paraffun, a foreign company that makes wax for candles and chemical plants, but I found out later he quit that job in late summer and was working for someone called Tidowave. Neither one will give me any information on his disappearance. And when the CIA decided I didn’t know anything, they stopped returning my calls. I’ve tried to go through all the proper authorities but they refuse to help me. They’re all saying they have bigger fish to fry.
It became clear to me quickly that Tidowave was run by a bunch of homicidal idiots. I don’t know how Teddy got involved with them. And I discovered that Paraffun was part of a larger company called Tagruato. I’m sure that one or both of them know what happened to my brother. And I’m sure, one way or another, they’re responsible for it. I need to find out what they did and why. What they did to him. Where they took him. I want to make them pay for the pain they caused my family.
The little faith I once had in our “system” is long gone. I’m tired of being lied to. I was told by the police and everyone else that people disappear all the time and there is nothing they can do without leads. But I know my brother is still out there and I’m going to find him whether they want me to or not – even if there is only a slight chance, I gotta do everything I can. I’m not giving up until I find him or his body.
Please help me find Teddy. I don’t have a lot of money to reward you. I just ask that you find it in your consciousness to do what’s right. I’ll take any leads or info you have. Anything. Completely anonymous. No questions asked.
If anyone has any information on Teddy, please contact me at the email on this site. He’s about 5’10, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a birthmark on his face. He may be wearing glasses with black plastic rims. He’s allergic to penicillin and sulfa.
